**Newspaper **Glass **Plastics **Cardboard **

Please take to the Recycling Center located off East 6th Street.  Please clean & rinse your recyclable items before you place them

inside the appropriate bin.

Newspapers should be tied in bundles and put in the trailer parked there.   We accept all kinds of paper. Some examples are:

newspaper, magazines, office paper and shredded paper.  

Glass should be rinsed, lids removed, and put in the appropriate green , brown or white designated bin marked for glass. 

Plastic bottles (#1 PETE) and containers (#2 Natural and #2 Colored HDPE) should be rinsed, lids removed, and

deposited in the appropriate container.  All # 3, 4, 5, & 7 plastic should be placed in the bin marked #7.

Tin cans are accepted, please clean and rinse and place in bin marked for tin cans only.

Cardboard should be flattened and placed in the wire baskets.

 **Used Motor Oil can be taken to the City Street Shed between 8:00am - 3:30pm - Monday - Friday.

 DO NOT LEAVE USED MOTOR OIL OUTSIDE THE STREET SHED AREA AFTER WORK HOURS!!!

The City of Hermann will no longer take aluminum cans as of October 1, 2011
