Founded in 1979, the Hermann Arts Council serves as an advisory body to the City of Hermann.

Mission Statement

To encourage and sponsor a variety of musical, theatrical, dramatic, and other visual and performing arts programs for the advancement of cultural awareness and the arts within the city and surrounding area of Hermann.

Meetings

The Arts Council meets the third Tuesday of every month at 5:00 p.m. at the Hermann City Hall, 1902 Jefferson Street, 573-486-5400.

Grants

Arts Council grants provide financial support to both non-profit organizations and individuals to help strengthen the arts and culture in the Hermann area. As an extension of our mission to promote, encourage and foster the arts, we also provide educational and networking support so artists and organizations can continue to enrich their programs and our community.
